INDUSTRY.co.id - Mataram - West Nusa Tenggara Governor Muhammad Zainul Majdi condemned the terrorist bombings in three churches in Surabaya resulting in 11 deaths and dozens injured on Sunday (13/05/2018)
The governor, better known as the Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) in Mataram, considered the action to be a crime that no religion can justify, let alone Islam.
TGB said, in Islam, let alone in a peaceful state, in a state of war is not justified to conduct attacks on opponents who are carrying out worship.
"Anyone who interferes, let alone harm, then his sin many times," said TGB.
The TGB reminds, as a nation, the bombing event is a bell warning that such action should be stopped immediately and prevented as early as possible.
"This action not only hurts the families of victims or Christians, but it also hurts Muslims," ​​he explained.
In addition to harming Muslims, such actions according to TGB also will damage the image of Indonesia in the eyes of the world, which assumes this nation has not been able to handle and prevent the occurrence of acts of violence like this.
Therefore, the TGB continued, it is necessary massive efforts to prevent such occurrences. Among other things, if already entered in the realm of violation of law and legislation, then all security devices must work.
Furthermore, according to the governor, seeks together to educate and nurture youths not to be exposed by misconceptions and misconceptions about Islam. Including, must understand the whole how the "founding fathers" to build a nation with the concept of Pancasila.
