KH Ma'ruf Amin Is Candidate for Vice President Jokowi in 2019

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) KH Maruf Amin is one of ten names that have been pocketed Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as a vice presidential candidate.

"Kiai Maruf Amin has become one of the alternatives to bridge the entire 'interest group'," said PPP Chairman M Romahurmuziy when asked about 10 names of vice president Jokowi in Jakarta on Tuesday (07/10/2010).

Rommy, familiar greeting Romahurmuziy, rate Maruf Amin as a complete figure and will certainly be accepted by all circles.

"He (Maruf Amin, red) the supreme leader of NU because (rise as a) rais aam, (accepted) Islamic organizations because the general chairman of MUI, and tongue connector to group 212," he said.

In addition, Maruf Amin also controlled the economy because professor of economics muamalat Syariah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim is also a National Sharia Economic Council.

"His experience is extensive because he was a member of the House of Representatives both from PPP and PKB," Rommy told the media crew.

Previously Rommy revealed that ten vice presidential candidates have Jokowi pocketed. However, Rommy is reluctant to name his names, including whether he is among the ten names.
