INDUSTRY.co.id - Jayapura - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) of the Provinces of Papua and West Papua reveals that until the first semester of 2018 the distribution of People's Business Loans (KUR) in Papua reached Rp. 703.630 billion or 59 percent of the annual target.
"The target of KUR distribution this year for Papua is Rp1.186 trillion and seeing from the achievements in semester I, I am sure the target can be achieved," said the Head of OJK Papua-West Papua, Misran Pasaribu, in Jayapura, Monday (08/13/2018 )
He said that the distribution of KUR in Papua was still dominated by the trade sector, and the percentage was more than 50 percent of the total realization.
Regarding the type, most of the KUR in Papua was channeled to KUR Kecil amounting to Rp. 386,967 billion, while Micro KUR was Rp. 3,16,663 billion.
Unlike Papua, which he considered to be a KUR distribution went well.
For West Papua the realization is relatively slow because until Semester I 2018 it has only reached 32 percent of the annual target.
"Until Semester I 2018, the distribution of KUR in West Papua reaches Rp.263.207 billion, while the target is Rp827,270 billion," he said.
Most of the KUR distribution in West Papua is absorbed into the micro sector, which is Rp136,799 billion, while for small KUR is Rp126,408 billion.
Misran hopes that in the future KUR socialization can be intensified, not only by banks, but also by the regional government because it is hoped that KUR can become an economic driver from the lowest level. (Ant)
