Bakrie Group Ready to Work on Geothermal Energy in Madiun

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Bakrie Group through PT Bakrie Darmakarya Energi, targeting two geothermal resource point aka energy treasure in Madiun. This is known from the result of meeting with the team from Integrated Licensing Service Office (KPPT) of Madiun Regency in the assistant room of economy and development.
Senior Field Operation of PT Bakrie Darmakarya Energi, Saiful Anwa said the two geothermal sources are located in Mendak Village, Dagangan District.
"In Madiun Regency, there are two points of drilling location, we have a meeting with Muspika to discuss the procedure, while in Ponorogo there is one point, namely in Ngebel Village, Ngebel Sub-district adjacent to Madiun Regency as well," explained Saiful after the meeting on Thursday (8/24/2017)
Saiful adds for the working time of two geothermal wells in Mendak Village, depending on drilling results in Ngebel Village. The target of each well is capable of generating 55 megawatts of electricity.
Head of EMR Department, Aris Budi said KPPT Madiun District called PT Bakrie Darmakarya Energi as the winner of geothermal energy project to know the progress of the initial implementation of the project seen from the completeness of the licensing.
"We just want to make sure that this is still a long phase, we will meet regularly, Bakrie will report every progress at the location," said Aris.
According to Aris, all licensing related processes are handled at the provincial level. While the Madiun District, only provide facilities.
Due to the wider coverage of Madiun's expanse area and two wells, Madiun Regency hopes that the office and project facilities will be built in Madiun, not in Ponorogo.
"We have prepared the facility, a land area of five hectares around the location," said Aris
