Caught in Case, Forbes Unplug Women's Inspirational 2017 from Anniesa Hasibuan

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Anniesa Hasibuan once established to be one of the most inspiring female figures in Indonesia by Forbes Indonesia Magazine.

However, the First Travel case made Forbes recall the embedding of Anniesa. Anniesa served as director at First Travel, while her husband Andika Surachman served as president.

"After considering the recent developments of the First Travek fraud case, Forbes Indonesia has decided to withdraw the recognition given to Anniesa Hasibuan as an Inspiring Women figure," Forbes Indonesia said in a written statement.

Forbes explained, the decision to give an inspirational woman status was done at the beginning of the year when the First Travel case had not been raised.

"Forbes Indonesia supports ethical business practices and wants to inspire others to achieve their success through ethical ways of doing business," Forbes said.

Anniesa herself is known as a fashion designer. In the past two years, he has made his name and achievements in the fashion world by becoming an Indonesian designer performing at the prestigious New York Fashion Week (NYFW) event. The First Travel officer performed twice in September 2016, and February 2017
